OBESITY

Just under a quarter (24%) of adult men are obese in Greater Glasgow and Clyde. 

ALCOHOL

The NHS estimates that around 9% of men in the UK show signs of alcohol dependence. 31% of men drink over 14 units in a usual week; considered a hazardous level.

SMOKING

19.1% of men in the UK report smoking.

CANCER

In 2016, 15,247 scottish males were diagnosed with cancer.
